The lovely [livejournal.com profile] indyonblue tagged me and I will try to comply with her request.

Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them!

1. The Dragonbone Chair it was the first book that I read more than once.

2. Madame Bovary a classic novel that I read to get a feeling for the french Society.

3. Harry Potter of course the series is part of my literary life.

4. Max Frisch - Homo Faber - a book I read in school

5. together we are less alone it is book by the french author Anne Gavalda and her book has touched me deeply. I love the story about finding love in odd places and being friends first.

6. The three Musqueteers by Dumas - I loved this book!!

7. Winnetou by Karl May - he was the first one to take my mind to the Wild
West :)

8. Fairytales by The brothers Grimm - I loved and love fairytales

9. Gone Girl that is one seriously twisted novel!!

10. Gone with the wind Because I always wanted to be as beautiful as Scarlet O'hara while having a backbone of steel :)

"The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed."

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.
4) * Star those you've started and have not and will not finish.
5) Strike through what you consider a complete waste of paper & time.
6) Reprint this list in your own LJ so we can try and track down these people who've read 6 and force books upon them ;-)
